Hey, y'all! I'm Caitlyn!
I am a portrait and wedding photographer based in Southeast Alaska and beyond. I started photography 6 years ago as a freshman in high school. I studied fine art photography and went on to win 4 national awards. I decided in the spring of my senior year I want to focus on telling the stories of the people around me!
I am located in Petersburg, Alaska where I live with my husband. He is a charter fisherman and my best adventuring buddy!

About My Work
I love photos based on natural movement and lighting. Let's face it, we all have nightmares of the awkward posing from getting photos done for your yearbook. I never want to feel like your reliving this nightmare. My philosophy for photography is that it is a living and moving art, the large majority of the photos I take are movement-based and meant to capture your personality and style in a way that is uniquely you!
I love capturing a story that is uniquely you. I am a movement-based photographer and love to get my shots through movement and action. My goal is to be able to mesh my love of art and the science behind it, the storytelling of romance, and the adventure in falling in love with your best friend! My goal with photography is to capture that feeling of exploring a new place for the very first time — freezing it to be shared and re-lived over and over again. Whether it's the feeling of falling in love with your best friend, watching your growing family, or capturing an image of the place you love, I want to be there to help you capture that feeling!
